I said it before. Stop sending aluminum and steel and aerospace and military manufacturing would suffer immensely. That is 90%+ of all good made, metals have strict import requirements and certifications, and we couldn’t just make our own on a whim.
It was obviously performative when Trump said, “you don’t get to tell us what we’re going to feel” when Zelensky said that the US will feel the effect of the war.
It’s was after JD already escalated and Trump had to grab something to be a critical about, and that was the arbitrary point he decided to cling onto. He had to because JD upped the ante and Trump HAD to do something to keep up
If they’d have not flip flopped, they wouldn’t have alienated both demographics. They make so much fucking money that they could have taken measures to protect employees from psychos that attacked them. Instead they were cowards and gave in. Now they are using the current political climate as an excuse to further enshitify the company.
I’m fortunate enough that I have options around me. I’m not saying I will do no shopping there, but I will try almost anywhere else but Amazon and Walmart before I bite the bullet.
