Also, there is a huge difference in what happened before, and what they are planning for in the future. America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. Our maximum security prisons average around 800-1200 inmates. The largest, in Angola, LA holds about 8300.

Guantanamo Bay holds less than 150, but they are currently building a facility there that will hold 30,000 people, almost 4 times larger than our largest maximum security prison, which itself is about 4 times larger than average.

Clearly they are planning to house an enormous number of people in a facility in CUBA, which is under the purview of the Russians, and outside the view of the courts and the media. Why would they need a facility to hold 30,000 people if they are going to deport them all? It seems like a place that large will be used for long-term detainment, and what’s the point of that for illegals? They’ll just get sent home. More and more, we are seeing lightning fast deportations, and it becomes clear that these cells will be holding political enemies who have broken Trump’s new Executive Orders.

2 days ago, he did a formal, scheduled media appearance with his AG Bondi, in which he very clearly stated that he will be going after the people who investigated his ties to Russia, the Insurrection, the Stolen Documents, etc., he specifically said that they “belong in prison.”

When a President takes the time to make a formal announcement to the media, with his AG at his side, that is NOT simple political rhetoric, nor partisan gamesmanship. It is the announcement of a new policy, and he just announced that he intends to imprison his political enemies.

They’ve already arrested that Palestinian activest from Columbia U, who literally broke no laws, who has a green card, is married to an American who is 8 months pregnant, and they won’t let him see a lawyer. They are testing the waters by muddying his case up with undocumented migrants. If nobody speaks up much, then they’ll move to the next level, and start rounding up American dissidents. You can bet that they going over case files right now, looking for the best test candidates to detain.

Bottom line is that the difference between the past and now is that in the past they were disappearing foreign terrorists. Now they intend on disappearing American citizens, and a LOT of them.

You don’t understand Putin’s strategy. Controlling America would be great, but he doesn’t have to control it, he just has to throw it into chaos, so that its outsized influence in the world is destroyed. She was killed by a car bomb few years ago, which as meant for her father, who was saved when he went back to retrieve his umbrella.

Putin’s control over Trump, Musk, and entire world-wide rise of the far-right is well-established, with the evidence in the wide open. Trump and Musk had numerous personal meetings with Putin during the Biden administration, and it is clear the these two FOREIGN Sociopathic Oligarchs with no loyalty or patriotism to America, have partnered up with the most prolific traitor in American history. They dont see the potential for greatness and morality that America has always promised, they only see a rich, fat, lazy nation that will be easy to exploit for their own personal benefits.

Putin and Russia are obviously behind all of this, and denying it will only make it easier for them to progress further, and eventually succeed.

Recent town halls for both Republicans and Democrats have been heavily attended by EXTREMELY angry citizens. They need to know how angry we are, and how immensely outnumbered they are.

Ive never been more worried in my life. Not for myself so much, I’m older so i won’t have to live that long in their authoritarian future. I’m extremely worried about my 25 year old son, and my 3 year old niece. This will be their world.

It is really affecting my son, who is losing hope, and so are his friends. They don’t see a future of freedom and pride in their country. My son made friends from all over the world when he was in college, and even they are worried about the future of the world with a Nazi regime in America.

If there isn’t a Musk file on me yet, there will be, and eventually the list will reach my name. I’ve been thinking about what would radicalize me beyond propagandizing on Lemmy (now that im permabanned from Vichy Reddit after 12 years and nearly a million karma for anti-Trump posts), and all patriotic, loyal Americans should be thinking about it, too. I have to stick around as long as possible for my wife and son, but if something were to happen to them, especially my son, then I’ve got nothing to lose, and it’s on, and i go full on guerilla warfare.

Miller has said that he wants to reduce the population of America to 100 million, from its current population of 330 million. How do you think a Nazi loving freak like him intends to reduce the population by 70%?

Musk just makes shit up, we all know that. Slim has held the title of World’s Richest Man in past years, and Musk is probably just jealous and feeling threatened, so he’s lashing out.

He does childish things like that all the time. Back when he seemed like he was just an amazing tech innovator, before we knew who he really was, he offered to send a submarine to help rescue those Thai soccer kids who were stuck in a cave. It was impossible, there were pathways where it was nearly impossible for one person to navigate, there was no way for a submarine to do it.

So he was turned down, but he was really counting on being the guy to save the day, so he got pissed, and publicly called the guy who was leading the rescue a Pedophile, claiming that he was only trying to save the kids so he could molest them!

That was the moment that I lost nearly all respect for Musk.

True, but not good enough. Eventually there will come a billionaire who is even more psychopathic than all the others, probably some Nepo-baby who thinks he’s a super-villain-genius because he was smart enough to be born with money. You are forgetting that China and Russia are friends, and always have been. Sure, they have their dust-ups, but it’s never serious. Last summer they were having combined wargames along the Alaska/Canadian coast, and Russian and Chinese jets flew close enough to have our air command nervous. At the same time Russia was touting their alliance with North Korea.

I think the US will leave NATO, but NATO will not align with China. Instead, there will be a new alliance, and America will join Russia, China, North Korea, and a few others (Saudi Arabia, Iran, Hungary, Turkey, etc.) in a new Axis Of Evil.

That’s an excellent point. Trump is replacing all the competent people with loyalists, without remembering a basic fact: It is better to keep your potential enemy inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in.

All he has done is force all of his most competent leaders to join the opposition, as well as tens of thousands of inside operatives who are now unemployed, but know better than anyone how the system operates. There are are also a lot of people still on the inside, who hate what has happened to their workplace and their colleagues, and won’t be so compliant.
