Huh, that’s odd. I wonder if that’s a newer update? (I’m opted into the client beta IIRC. Obviously you shouldn’t have to do that to find games that work on the new console you just bought.)

But yeah exactly, the whole point in searching for VR games FROM THE FRAME ITSELF, should be to show you games that are compatible with it natively. Not games that require a computer, and to stream to the frame.

So I agree that Steam’s UI is… not the best in general. And the “Great on Frame” list could be way easier to find on the desktop client. That said, at least for me, when I open the store page on the Frame itself “Great on Frame” is the default page, and then if you scroll down a bit there’s a list of tabs for different categories, one of which is VR. You can also go to the “VR Titles” page (which has a dedicated button in the Frame’s store on the upper left) and each game should have a little icon in the top right indicating how it plays on the Frame. (✅, ❔ or 🚫)

Definitely agree that the VR + Great on Frame titles should be highlighted better though. Isn’t that the whole point of the thing?

A friend of mine also running Fedora was able to get streaming working, in its case by installing the mesa-vulkan-drivers-freeworld drivers from rpmfusion.
