Not true. A nation doesn’t need tariffs to help with preparations unless they’re also trying to maintain the dominance of their ruling classes.
Tariffs mean we have to pay for it instead of them. They can afford it, but they won’t foot the bill unless they are forced to.
and freak out about tariffs wrecking their bottom line.
Nooooooooo. You got it all wrong! (seriously)
The ruling class wants the tariffs because tariffs artificially increase the price of their competitors’ products! The entire point is to literally block people from getting a better deal outside of the US, so those same people can get screwed over domestically.
Tariffs are not good for the working class.
They only exist to protect the profits of the rulers.
Tariffs only exist to protect the profits of the ruling class.
Do not be fooled. Tariffs are not good for us.
Couldn’t imagine falling for the propaganda on either side and getting swept up in this war.
If anyone forced me to fight, they’d be the first people I shoot at.

Don’t be fooled. War is for idiots.
We need to stop supporting establishment democrats.
They stay in power by making us lose slower…
Good. If Americans want to be competitive with China, they can start by charging less money.
military aid to Israel
Of course. Why can’t this religious ethnostate fight its own battles?
Why does the US have to give them ~$8 billion annually for free?
This is why we shouldn’t allow censorship, even if we don’t like what’s being censored.
Yeah, no. I can tell you’re purposefully ignoring what I am saying because it’s not what you want to hear.
For the record before I block you, I am referring to those who are living above their means because accepting a cheaper way of life “isn’t good enough for them.”
It’s not about needs. It’s about wants. That’s what you misunderstand when you say “many Americans need 2 jobs just to survive.”
It’s straight up not true.
Gonna ignore you now.
Both can contribute to the problem. I’m not even blaming “the workers.” I’m blaming entitled consumers.
Americans have been taught to conflate their needs with wants, so whoever takes their wants away is a bad person.
If you’re sitting around waiting for the people at top to enact change, you’re part of the problem. We can all do something about it, and it usually starts in our wallets.
Well, I wouldn’t say many Americans need 2 jobs to survive.
Usually the people you’re referring to aren’t living as frugally as they could be, and they want to be entitled to excesses they don’t need.
They’re the people who can barely afford living in a major city, but moving out to the country isn’t “good enough” for them.
Meanwhile the people from both nations are realizing how much bullshit they’ve been fed by the media about each other.
“prevailing narrative”
Definitely need to keep this concept in minds in our age of misinformation.
Just because something is said a lot on the internet does not mean it’s an accurate indication of reality.
